From what I remembered of when cannabis was down-graded to a class C drug the sentences were not so high. Now that it is a class B, what kind of sentences would you be looking at for a factory with over 100 plants?
If there is anyone out there who was crazy enough to cultivate over 100 plants we would love to hear about it so please share your story.

When cannabis was class c the viatnamese who were filling house's with weed were getting 2-4 year sentences for a whole house load.
ReplyDeleteNow I think if you got court with 100 plants you would get a prison term of no let than 2 years.
Recently my friend got caught with 110 plants and he thought that was him finished.
ReplyDeleteThey were fully matured and ready to harvest and in his loft.
He got 6 months on tag and a suspended sentence for 18 months or something like that.
Couldn't beleive it when i heard he got off on a tag.
Think he was very lucky.
Only thing is now he can't grow at all :-(

DeleteYes i would be very interested im finding out what happens to you, i myself am going to the police station on the 27th june to be charged for growing 106 plants. 24 flowering & the rest quite small in veg.
ReplyDeletei got caught with 20 plants, no scales no tick list = personal use, i got 150 hours comunity service and £300 fine. keep it below 20 plants, do 10 plants in the scrog method if you are a good grower you can get 50 oz from 10 plants using this method,

That would never happen in the UK unless you had some crazy history of growing hundreds of plants before and already went to prison etc..
I got caught with 190 plants ! I got 2yrs but pleaded guilty so got 16 months! Only served 4mnths in jail cause I got tag! But fucked that up and served another 4mnths
ReplyDeleteI was caught recently growing 107 plants in total. Buds were fully mature and ready to harvest in a weeks time. They tried to say it was for commercial sale but i managed to walk out of there with just a 6 month suspended sentence and 200 hours community order.

Propper put it on me hard like i was at school being told off by the head teacher when i was 14 years old.
I am feeling very lucky to be walking the streets of london once again I can tell you that for sure.

Just i been caught woth 14 plants on the first week of flowering, not little bags, no scale, any cash or extra money in bank, no previous criminal record, now, I am under bail, doea anyone what's gonna happen to me??
ReplyDeleteGot caught with just over 160 which puts you into Cat 2 Commercial Growing. Lead Roll starting point is 6 years. Significant Roll is 4 years and Lesser Roll is 1 year. If you are not involved with anyone else you should only be sentenced under Significant Roll. If you have no previous and plead guilty early on (30% credit), you could get it down under a 2 year sentence with some mitigation, which makes you eligible for a suspended sentence. However, it's not the time that will hurt. It's the proceeds of crime order at that level. They will value 100 plants at 40g a plant at street value = £40,000. Which you will have to pay back, if you admit to, or they find evidence of previous crops, the POCA increases to there estimation of the profits they think you have made. This is what really hurts. So keep it under 26 folks or 9 if you have previous. That includes babies on vegetation i.e 13 in flower, 13 veg :) Awaiting sentence in May after one of my co-def's trial.
